Emma had her two-month check up on Monday. She now weighs 13 pounds 11 ounces and is 25.5 inches long. This puts her at the 95th percentile for both weight and height, just like her brother. The doctor's comment to us when she walked in the examining room was, "wow, you have a tall family." She also said that Emma is perfectly healthy and doing great. Three shots plus an oral vaccine and we were good to go.
Clover had her yearly check up at the veterinarian on Wednesday. She has been having some difficulty getting around recently. Dr. B says it is arthritis, and not unexpected in a dog of her age and size. She has a prescription for a cox-inhibitor for the next ten days. Depending on how she does she might switch to aspirin after that, plus glucosamine supplements. It's rough getting old!

I had guessed 14.1, so I was just a little over on her weight. She's definitely another long and solid Goerlich baby. She's gorgeous and wonderful. It was a joy to get to see and hold her last weekend.
We hope Clover's meds make her feel better and give her some ease of movement.
